Every year, hundreds of thousands of children in Poland experience violence – at home, at school, in their immediate environment.
According to research by the Dajemy Dzieciom Siłę Foundation, 32% of Polish children experience violence from close adults, and as many as 66% from peers.
Despite the ban on physical punishment of children that has been in effect since 2010, one in three Poles still considers it acceptable.
The Childhood Without Violence Campaign is an annual nationwide campaign mobilizing the entire society to prevent child abuse and take action to build a safe childhood that empowers children. The campaign is organized by the Give Children Strength Foundation and the National Coalition for Child Protection.
The 2025 campaign runs from October 6 to November 19.
