This manifesto is a call for real change in the way children are treated. Sign it and become part of the movement for a good, safe childhood.
Childhood is the foundation of life. It should be a period of support, presence, and appreciation from adults. A stage of life in which a child feels safe, seen, and loved.
We have prepared a proposal to amend the provision on child-friendly interviews. The draft proposes extending the protective interview procedure to children who are victims of abuse or sexual exploitation up to the age of 18, rather than 15 as is currently the case. The petition has been supported by 26 aid organizations, including the Association of Family Judges in Poland, the National Emergency Service for Victims of Domestic Violence “Blue Line,” the Committee for the Protection of Children’s Rights, the Coalition for Family Foster Care, and the Ocalenie Foundation. This week, the petition will be submitted to the Senate Petitions Committee.
We appeal to the Minister of Health to decide on the competition for providing telephone and online support for children and young people in mental crisis!
