800 100 100 It is free and anonymous telephone and online assistance for parents and teachers who need support and information on counteracting and psychological assistance to children who are experiencing troubles and difficulties such as: aggression and violence at school, cyberbullying and threats related to new technologies, use sexual contact with psychoactive substances, depression and depressed mood, suicidal thoughts, eating disorders.

In addition, the therapists and lawyers of the Foundation give children strength to consult on interventions in the event of suspicion of crimes against children, in particular sexual abuse, and psychological help for children experienced by sexual violence and abuse and participating as witnesses and victims in legal procedures.

On our educational platform at edukacja.fdds.pl, after prior registration, you can access e-learning courses for adults, courses for children and adolescents, as well as download educational materials, including lesson plans, posters, leaflets, films and brochures.

We educate professionals working with children

We conduct educational activities for professionals working with children: teachers, guardians, educators, social workers, doctors, nurses, policemen, lawyers, etc., who can identify the problem and intervene. We organize trainings, seminars, conferences, webinars that concern various forms of child abuse, incl. domestic and peer violence, sexual abuse, neglect, threats on the Internet. We provide knowledge and skills from various areas: diagnosis, intervention, therapeutic help, preventive activities. We provide both short sensitizing trainings and in-depth courses of professional skills. We develop publications that can reach a wide range of professionals – guides, brochures, leaflets. We create and provide e-learning courses. Training and educational materials for people working with children.

We publish the quarterly "Child abused"

The quarterly “Child abused. Theory, research, practice” is a free magazine addressed to professionals helping children, academics, students and journalists. We publish scientific articles presenting research results, theoretical concepts, models of practical activities in the field of counteracting child abuse. The quarterly “Child abused. Theory, research, practice” is a list of scored journals of the Ministry of Education and Science.

We study the phenomenon of violence in Poland

The research aspect and research diagnosing various aspects of child abuse are an important element of our activity. The research department of the Foundation provides us with answers to important questions – what is the social consent to beating children, how often do parents use violence, what is the scale of experiences of violence and sexual abuse of children in Poland, what are the consequences of such experiences in childhood on mental health, what risky behaviors They take on children on the Internet and much more.

We introduce child protection standards

Child protection standards are a program of prevention and prevention of harming children on the part of adults (parents, employees of the facility) and peers. The program is addressed to nurseries, kindergartens, schools, institutions, non-governmental organizations and other institutions acting for the benefit of children. It is the first program in Poland, promoting safe organizations and responding to the needs of professionals and parents of children, in the field of implementing standards that are safe for children.
