Our Foundation has been awarding the Alina Margolis-Edelman Prize since 2011 to individuals distinguished in activities supporting children. This year, for the first time, the award will be granted for initiatives aimed at protecting children.
The Prize, inspired by the life and work of Alina Margolis-Edelman, founder of the Empowering Children Foundation, serves as a reminder of her courage, passion, and unwavering commitment to defending children’s rights.

In 2023, the laureates of the 13th edition of the Alina Margolis-Edelman Prize were: Izabela Marcewicz-Jendrysik, President of the Warsaw Medical Care Centre “KOPERNIK”, and the Sempre a Frente Foundation from Lublin. Honourable mentions were awarded to Tomasz Bilicki, Dr Katarzyna Anna Dyląg, the Little Big Human Foundation, and the Polish Suicidology Society.
